Former Jacksonville receiver D'vone McClure has committed to be a walk-on at Arkansas.

McClure, 6-3, 190 pounds signed to play baseball at Arkansas, but was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 4th round of the 2012 Major League Draft and played four seasons in the Indians' minor league system. He visited the Hogs on April 9 and spoke to Coach Bret Bielema about joining the program.

Like most high school athletes that sign baseball contracts, McClure had a clause where the Indians agreed to pay for his college education if baseball didn't work out.

McClure, who also visited Arizona, caught 58 passes for 944 yards and 9 touchdowns, rushed 36 times for 293 yards and 3 touchdowns and returned 8 kickoffs for 243 yards as a junior.
