Two highly regarded defensive linemen are planning to officially visit Arkansas.

Defensive lineman Troy James of Baton Rouge Madison Prep Academy and defensive end Justin Thomas of Spanish Fort, Alabama are planning to make official visits to Fayetteville.

James, 6-3, 276 pounds has about 20 offers from schools like Arkansas, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Indiana, Kansas and others. He said he's looking to visit the Hogs for the Alabama game.

A Kansas commitment, James visited Arkansas in June.

Thomas, 6-5, 265 pounds has 15 offers from schools like Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Nebraska and Tennessee. He's teammates with Hog linebacker target Thomas Johnston. He said he'll likely join Johnston for an official visit for the Ole Miss game. Johnston talked up the Hogs to Thomas.

He said he and Johnston are very close and have discussed going to the same college.

Defensive end Miki Suguturaga, 6-5, 260 pounds of Punahou High School in Honolulu said the chance of him taking an official visit to Arkansas is probably high. He has 12 offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, Utah, Oregon State, Washington State, Brigham Young and San Diego State. The Hogs recently offered.

Junior cornerback Kalon Gervin, 5-11, 180, 4.43 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Detroit Cass Technical said he and defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads talked on Monday about him getting down to Fayetteville.

Gervin has more than 20 scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee and several others.

His teammate and highly recruited safety Jaylen Kelly-Powell visited Fayetteville in June and spoke well of the Hogs.
