Tuesday recruiting tidbits: 2018 target to see Hogs play at least three times

A top 2018 Arkansas target plans to attend at least three Razorback games this fall.

Junior linebacker Bumper Pool plans to visit Fayetteville for the Alabama game Oct. 8. He plans to also attend the TCU game in Fort Worth and Texas A&M game in Arlington.

Pool, 6-2, 216 pounds, of Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy has scholarship offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Baylor, SMU, Oklahoma State, Michigan, Texas A&M and others. ESPN rates him the No. 3 inside linebacker and the No. 153 overall prospect in the nation for the 2018 class.

Pool will also try and visit Fayetteville whenever his schedule will allow.

Defensive end Bryan Jones, 6-5, 248, of Baton Rouge Madison Prep Academy said he's considering Arkansas for an official visit after the Hogs recently extended an offer to him.

Jones, who’s committed to Ole Miss, has other offers from Arizona State, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Miami, Texas and others. He plans to take all five of his official visits. ESPN rates Jones the No. 16 defensive end and the No. 175 overall prospect in the nation.

Junior offensive lineman Blaine Scott, 6-4, 300, of Portsmouth (Ohio) Sciotoville said he visited Arkansas in June and is hoping to make it back for a game this fall.

He called the June trip great and Coach Bret Bielema and offensive line coach Kurt Anderson awesome. Scott has offers from Arkansas, Iowa State, Florida, Louisville, Miami, Michigan State and others. ESPN rates him the No. 13 offensive guard and the No. 225 overall prospect in the nation for the 2018 class.

2018 defensive end Jalan Harris. 6-2, 245, of Haynesville, La., plans to visit Arkansas for the La.Tech game Sept. 2. He has offers from La.-Monroe, La.-LaFayette and UTSA. Hog linebacker Kendrick Jackson also attended Haynesville.
