Oklahoma O-lineman looking to visit Hogs in the fall

Offensive lineman Owen Condon

Junior offensive lineman Owen Condon is looking to make his way to Fayetteville to watch an Arkansas game this fall.

“I was invited to their camp this summer, but couldn't attend,” Owen said. “I'm planning on taking an unofficial for the Florida game this fall if everything goes as planned.”

Condon, 6-7, 315 pounds Oklahoma City, (Okla.) Bishop McGuinness has six scholarship offers from schools like Ohio, SMU, Tulsa, Texas Tech, Louisiana Monroe, and Iowa State while drawing interest from Arkansas, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Stanford and Nebraska.

The reputation of the Razorback offensive line is what attracts Condon.

“They're known for big, physical, and overall great offensive lineman,” Condon said. “They play in the best conference in America, and it's close to home.”

Condon, who has a 265 pound bench press, 450 squat and a 300 power clean, is from Fort Meyers, Florida and grew up a Gators fan.

He has a 3.96 grade point average and is considering business or engineering as his major in college. Condon started every game for the 10-3 Fighting Irish last year while playing at 290.

He was able to watch the Hogs defeat Ole Miss 53-52 in overtime.

“I saw that game, crazy finish,” he said. "It was probably their biggest win, crazy game with a great finish.”
