— After a slow start to its Spanish exhibition tour, Arkansas finished with a flurry Sunday.

The Razorbacks beat European Academy 124-55 in its fourth and final exhibition game of the trip. Arkansas finished the tour with a 3-1 record.

The Razorbacks made 50 of 87 field goal attempts, including 11 of 24 3-pointers.

Arkansas forced 34 turnovers and converted them into 46 points.

"I thought our defense was real solid," Arkansas coach Mike Anderson said. "Offensively, we had good ball movement and got some easy shots from our defense."

Seven Razorbacks scored in double figures and all 13 players made at least one field goal. Arkansas outscored European Academy 75-8 in bench points.

Freshman CJ Jones scored a game-high 23 points for the Razorbacks on 8 of 12 shooting, including 3 of 5 from 3-point range.

"The guys coming off the bench gave us a big-time lift," Anderson said. "CJ continues to play at a high level."

Jones scored in double figures for the third consecutive game. He had 18 on Wednesday and 10 Saturday.

"He opened up some eyes," Anderson said. "For a guy coming out of high school...obviously he's very athletic and has a nice stroke. I think he learned some things - the physicalness of the game, taking care of the ball, putting it on the floor before they call a walk.

"He's starting to figure some things out and that's a good sign."

Senior Dusty Hannahs added 19 points and made five 3-pointers. Freshman Adrio Bailey added 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

"I came off the bench with a whole lot of energy," Bailey said. "I knew they were going to give me the ball when they saw me running, so the only thing I had to do was finish."

Anton Beard had 14 points, Daryl Macon and Dustin Thomas scored 11 apiece, and Arlando Cook added 10.

The Razorbacks' defense held European Academy to 32 percent shooting, including 1 of 14 from 3-point range.

and Arlando Cook added 10.

"Today was our best game on the defensive front, and when you play good defense your offense will come," Macon said. "Tonight we got most of our points out of it."

Anderson said the trip to Spain was a bonding experience for the team, which has eight newcomers.

"I think it's been beneficial for us," Anderson said. "I didn't know what to expect coming over here, and obviously in the first game we got something unexpected. But I thought we learned from it and brought the fight in each and every game. That was the difference in the last three games.

"The 10 practices, you can't put a price tag on those. I've got a sneak peek of my team and a feel fro what some of these guys can bring to the table, and things we can enhance."
