— Defensive end Michael Taylor is scheduled to report to Arkansas today.

Taylor, a junior college transfer from Riverside (Calif.) Community College, has until Friday to enroll in classes for the fall semester. His transfer had been held up by the NCAA while it reviewed his transcript.

In addition to Riverside, Taylor also attended North Carolina Central on a track scholarship and spent a semester at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College.

Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said it's still unclear whether Taylor will be able to play this season. Taylor does not have a redshirt year available.

"Whether he will be eligible here immediately or have to sit will be determined," Bielema said.

"I'm excited for him and excited for the opportunities that brings."

Taylor (6-4, 240 pounds) had 50 tackles last season, including 11.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. He committed to the Razorbacks in July.
