Arkansas upsets second-ranked Duke

— Arkansas notched its biggest soccer win ever Friday night.

The Razorbacks upset No. 2 Duke 2-1 in front of a record crowd of 3,010 fans at Razorback Field. It was the program's first win over a top 10 opponent.

Arkansas improved to 3-0 overall.

Lindsey Mayo scored a goal in the 21st minute to give the Razorbacks a 1-0 halftime lead. Mayo scored off a pass from Alexandra Fischer and kicked the ball into the left side of the net past diving Duke goalie EJ Proctor.

Stefani Doyle added a goal in the 49th minute to make it 2-0 Arkansas. It was the fourth goal in three games for the freshman.

Olivia Erlbeck scored the only goal for Duke in the 76th minute on a long kick from outside the penalty area. Erlbeck's kick went in just under the crossbar and above the outstretched hands of Arkansas goalkeeper Cameron Carter.

The Blue Devils (2-1) had an opportunity to tie the game in the closing minutes, but Toni Payne's kick was high.
