Bama can't sway Hog commitment

NWA Media/ANDY SHUPE - Arkansas assistant coach Michael Smith high-fives with players against LSU during the third quarter Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

Arkansas linebacker De'Jon Harris took an official visit to Alabama over the weekend and was quick to declare he was all Hog after the trip.

Harris, 6-1, 230 4.7 of Marrero, (La.) John Ehret, made an official visit to Fayetteville on Jan. 22 along with three other prospects from the Bayou State. The Crimson Tide offered him Dec. 17.

He said he didn't have the same comfort level at Alabama and gave three reasons.

"Trust, relationships, comfortability," Harris said. "Those three things I have with Arkansas and I didn't have with Alabama. It's probably it's only been a month with Bama, but throwing national championships won't change my mind."
