Arkansas wins on Monk's buzzer-beater

— Malica Monk made a shot as time expired to give Arkansas a 57-56 win over Vanderbilt on Monday at Bud Walton Arena.

Monk's shot came after she rebounded an attempt by Jordan Danberry. Vanderbilt had taken the lead on a free throw by Christa Reed with 9.9 seconds remaining.

The Razorbacks overcame a bad start to the fourth quarter to snap their four-game losing streak. Arkansas led by as many as 22 points in the second half, but the Commodores got back in the game with a 24-2 run.

Jessica Jackson scored 18 points to lead the Razorbacks (10-14, 5-6 SEC). Jackson fouled out with less than two minutes remaining.

Danberry added 10 points.

Rachel Bell scored 12 points to lead Vanderbilt (15-8, 5-5).
