Razorbacks beat third ranked team in 10 days

— Arkansas won its third straight home game against a ranked opponent Sunday.

The Razorbacks closed the game on a 16-5 run and beat No. 24 Missouri 64-52 at Bud Walton Arena.

Arkansas (8-10, 3-2 SEC) has won three of its last four games - all against ranked opponents. The Razorbacks were coming off an upset of No. 13 Tennessee on Thursday.

All five Arkansas starters scored in double-figures, led by Jessica Jackson's 15 points. Kelsey Brooks added 13 points, Alecia Cooley 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Devin Cosper and Melissa Wolff 11 points apiece.

Missouri (15-3, 2-3) was led by Sierra Michaelis' 18 points and Cierra Porter's 14 points. The two teams' benches combined to score just five points.

The Razorbacks led 32-26 at halftime and trailed only once in the second half. Missouri took a 44-43 lead with 9:42 left in the fourth quarter, but made only one shot the rest of the game.

Arkansas took the lead for good on a pair of free throws by Brooks with 8:38 remaining. The Razorbacks made 29 of 39 free throws to offset a 31 percent clip from the field.

Arkansas is scheduled to play at LSU on Thursday.
