— When Arkansas opens its season next month, it will do so with the largest video board in college baseball.

The screen is 25 feet tall and 71 feet wide, making it 1,775 square feet and 15 times the size of the Razorbacks' old screen.

It is also more than 260 square feet larger than the next biggest video board in the country and 425 square feet larger than the next biggest in the SEC.

Houston's Cougar Field has a 1,512.5-square-foot screen, while Texas A&M's Olson Field has a 1,347.5-square-foot screen.

Baum Stadium is just one of four facilities at Arkansas to receive video board upgrades from Daktronics this season.

The first upgrade was at Bud Walton Arena, where the basketball team now plays under a four-sided display. Two of the screens are 16.5 feet by 29 feet, while the other two are 16.5 feet by 23 feet.

There are also two small screens on each basket.

Arkansas' softball stadium, Bogle Park, has a new 623.5-square-foot video board, which is the fourth largest in college softball.

Finally, the Randall Tyson Track Center is getting a 275-square-foot display.
