Arkansas coach Jimmy Dykes pleads for a foul against Tennessee Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, during the second half in Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.

Playing with a chance to win a fourth consecutive SEC game for the first time in four seasons, the Arkansas women's basketball team couldn't protect its possessions on Sunday in Auburn, Ala.

In a game that was tied 12 times and featured 11 lead changes, Arkansas committed a season-high 28 turnovers, 6 in overtime in a 71-60 loss at Auburn.

Arkansas (9-11, 4-3), which had won three games in a row, was held to four points in overtime on 1-for-4 shooting. Auburn's Jazmine Jones gave the Lady Tigers a lead with a jumper in overtime, then Arkansas committed four turnovers before it made its first shot from the floor, a jumper by Alecia Cooley that made it 66-60 with 37 seconds left.

Auburn (13-7, 3-4) was 6 for 8 form the field during overtime to snap Arkansas' winning streak, which included victories over nationally ranked Tennessee, Missouri and LSU.

The Razorbacks kept pace with the help of a season-high 10 three-pointers. Devin Cosper made 4 of 9 threes to finish with 17 points, while Jessica Jackson and Kelsey Brooks each made 3 threes each. Jackson finished with 19 points, while Brooks had 10. Melissa Wolff added 10 points, too, and Cooley had 10 rebounds for the Razorbacks.

Arkansas, which averaged 15.2 turnovers per game before Sunday, committed a turnover on the first possession of the game, turned it over on three of its first seven possessions and had eight in the first quarter while falling behind 12-8.

The Razorbacks had only three turnovers in the second quarter, and rallied from a 17-10 deficit with an 11-2 run to take a 21-19 lead on two Jackson free throws with 2:18 left and they led 26-24 at halftime.

The lead changed hands four times in the third quarter before Arkansas entered the fourth with a 42-40 lead, and led 48-44 with 6:39 left but couldn't close out the victory, missing its next seven shots. Cosper ended the skid with a three-pointer with 1:15 left to tie the game at 53-53, and after Brooks' three gave Arkansas a 56-53 lead with 15 seconds left, Auburn's Brandy Montgomery hit a three with 10 seconds left to send it to overtime. Cosper missed a three-pointer that would have won the game before overtime.

Tra'Cee Tanner led Auburn with 21 points, while Montgomery had 15 and Katie Frerking had 13 and Janiah McKay 12.
