Former Dallas Cowboys coach Dave Campos picked up punter Sam Irwin-Hill, defensive back Carroll Washington and defensive end Colton Miles-Nash in the second half of Major League Football's "Territorial" draft Friday.

When he was taken off the board in the 29th round, Washington expressed his excitement on Twitter and may have confirmed earlier reports that one of the league's franchises would be based in Arkansas.

"Just want to take this moment to thank MLFB and Team Campo for this amazing opportunity," Washington tweeted. "I'm coming home Arkansas!"

A fan asked if his tweet meant that Little Rock was officially getting the team and he responded, "Was it a secret?" and "You ain't hear nothing from me."

MLFB has not revealed the eight locations for its teams, but according to its website, it is targeting "emerging markets" that don't already have an MLB or NFL franchise.

It would make sense for Campo's team to be based in the Natural State because of the Arkansas players he has drafted.

Joe Adams was the first overall pick in the MLFB draft Wednesday and is considered Campo's "franchise player." Alonzo Highsmith and Jerico Nelson were drafted Thursday, followed by Irwin-Hill, Washington and Miles-Nash on Friday.

There are also eight players from five other Arkansas colleges on Campo's team: Maxie Graham (Henderson State), Damian Lee (Arkansas-Pine Bluff), Donatella Luckett (Harding), Tanner Marsh (Arkansas Tech), Justin Martin (Arkansas Tech), David Oku (Arkansas State), Daniel Riley (Harding) and Javon Ross (Henderson State).

Each MLFB team will draft another 29 players Saturday, beginning at 9:20 a.m., in the league's "National" draft.
