Monday recruiting tidbits: Another Florida DB interested in Hogs

A friend of an Arkansas commitment has the Hogs high on list list and is looking to visit Fayetteville.

Cornerback Naytron Culpepper, 6-0, 170 of Miami Carol narrowed his list of 27 offers down to Arkansas, Michigan State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Louisville and Oklahoma State. He said he and Razorback cornerback commitment Jarques McClellion are on the same 7-on-7 team. Video highlights CLICK HERE

He said he's looking to officially visit Fayetteville.

2018 Greenwood quarterback-pitcher Connor Noland, 6-2, 185 struck-out 10 batters, picked off a runner, allowed 4 hits and 2 walks in a 6-1 win over Evoshield Canes, a highly regarded travel team, on Sunday. He also was 1 of 3 batting.

As reported on Thursday, He plans to visit Vanderbilt and Tennessee next week and Arkansas in mid July. Ole Miss, Oklahoma and possibly Penn St. are also on the list to visit. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Hog running back commitment Maleek Williams, 5-11, 215, 4.42 Punta Gorda (Fla.) Charlotte said he plans to make his official visit to Arkansas when the Hogs play Alabama on Oct. 8. Video highlights CLICK HERE

2018 Fort Myers, (Fla.) South Fort Myers receiver Jashaun Jones, who received an offer from Arkansas after the South Florida satellite camp, has since added offers from Southern Miss and Rutgers. Florida Atlantic offered him after the camp. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Miami Edison defensive end Kayode Oladele, 6-5, 236 pounds said Arkansas defensive line coach Rory Segrest wants to see early season video and an offer from the Hogs is likely.

He was one of the more impressive prospects who participated in Arkansas' satellite camp hosted by Florida Atlantic University on June 13. He arrived in the country from Nigeria about 10 months ago and has yet to play a down of football.
