Georgia power forward looking forward to visiting Hogs

Power forward Victor Enoh.

— Arkansas assistant coach Scotty Thurman has been talking to power forward Victor Enoh since his promotion in April after being the director of student-athlete development for six years.

“I’m really looking forward to visiting them,” Enoh said.

Enoh, 6-8, 235 pounds, of Greenforest Mccalep Christian Academy in Decatur, Ga., estimates having 15 scholarship offers from schools like Providence, Memphis, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Alabama while the Hogs are showing strong interest.

“I’m waiting on AAU to be over with before I start cutting my list down,” Enoh said.

He averaged 8 points, 6.9 rebounds while shooting 48 percent from the field and had 28 block shots as a junior in high school. Enoh averaged 6.1 points and 5.6 rebounds for Team CP3 during EYBL spring and summer play.

Enoh, who is rated the No. 21 power forward in the nation by ESPN, is willing to play any role.

“It depends what team I’m on,” Enoh said. “The team I’m on right now we have a lot of offensive players, I just play a role and not take their shots from them. I’m trying to play physical and rebound and kick it out and look to score at the same time.”

CP3 features ESPN’s No. 26 and No. 2 overall prospects in the nation in guard Collin Sexton and power forward Wendell Carter.

“I just want to win; I just want to win,” Enoh said “I don’t care how it is. I just want to help my team win.”

Being from Nigeria, Enoh is familiar with Arkansas center Moses Kingsley.

“He’s one of my Nigerian brothers that plays there,” Enoh said. “So I’ve been watching the games.”

He has been impressed with Kingsley’s development.

“When I knew Moses, he couldn’t move like that,” Enoh said. “I’ve noticed he’s gotten better.”
