Hogs to play New Mexico State in 2017

Arkansas will play New Mexico State in 2017, the UA announced Friday.

It has not been announced whether the game will be in Fayetteville or Little Rock, but it will be played on Sept. 30. Arkansas has a contract to play one game per year at War Memorial Stadium through the 2018 season.

The Razorbacks are 5-0 all-time against the Aggies, with their wins by average margin of 36.8 points.

Their most recent matchup came in 2004, when Arkansas beat New Mexico State 63-13 in the season opener.

Other non-conference opponents for the 2017 season include TCU in Fayetteville and Coastal Carolina in Fayetteville or Little Rock.
