Thursday recruiting tidbits: 2018 target to visit Hogs

Junior linebacker Bumper Pool has ties to Arkansas.

Arkansas linebacker target Bumper Pool will visit the Hogs this weekend.

Pool, 6-2, 216 pounds of Lucas, (Texas) Lovejoy has a scholarship offers from Arkansas, Alabama, Baylor, SMU, Oklahoma State, Michigan and Texas A&M.

He recorded 148 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, a quarterback hurry, 6 pass breakups, 5 forced fumble and 2 recovered fumbles this past season. He'll arrive in Fayetteville Saturday afternoon and will visit the Hogs Sunday.

Offensive lineman Eleasah Anderson, 6-4, 280 of Houston Alief Taylor plans to visit Arkansas on Saturday. He has 19 offers from schools like Kansas State, Kansas, New Mexico, Tulane and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Junior college defensive lineman Isaiah Johnson, 6-5, 300 of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M said he's trying to set up another unofficial visit to Arkansas in July. He visited Fayetteville on May 13. He has offers from Nebraska, Mississippi State, Houston and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Fort Smith Northside cornerback Tre Norwood, 5-11, 170, 4.48 received an offer from Wake Forest on Wednesday. He also has offers from Minnesota, Memphis, Louisville, Arkansas State and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Forward Brachen Hazen reported to Arkansas on Monday.

Hazen, 6-8, 200 pounds of Columbia City (Ind.) High School, signed with the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from Ball State, Clemson, Creighton, Maryland, Richmond and Valparaiso,

He averaged 16.1 points and 9.3 rebounds this past season and was an Indiana All-State selection in his junior season after averaging 13.0 points and 7.1 rebounds.
