— Arkansas' men and women finished runner-up for national program of the year in track & field and cross country.

Both teams finished second to Oregon. Points for each award were calculated from the national meets for cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field. First-place finishes were worth one point, second-place finishes worth two points, etc., and the program with the lowest score won.

Arkansas' men finished sixth in cross country and runner-up at the indoor and outdoor meets. The Razorbacks' women won the outdoor meet, finished runner-up indoors and were ninth in cross country.

It is the second consecutive year the women have finished second for the Terry Crawford Program of the Year award. The men's award is named for longtime Arkansas coach John McDonnell and both awards are presented by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
