— Arkansas junior Jessica Jackson was named to the all-SEC first team Tuesday.

Jackson is averaging 16.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for the Razorbacks. Her points per game are third-best in the conference and her 41.3 percent field goal percentage is fifth.

Earlier this season, Jackson became the second-fastest player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.

It is the third all-SEC selection for Jackson. She was second-team all-conference last season and named to the league's all-freshman team two years ago.

Jackson is the fourth Arkansas player to earn first-team honors and first since C'eira Ricketts in 2012. Other first-team selections were Shameka Christon and Christy Smith.

The Razorbacks (12-17) are scheduled to play Tennessee on Thursday at the SEC Tournament in Jacksonville, Florida. The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
