FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas junior Jessica Jackson was named second-team all-SEC on Tuesday by the Associated Press.
Jackson averaged 16.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game during the regular season for the Razorbacks. Her points per game were third-best in the conference and her 41.3 percent field goal percentage was fifth.
She was named first-team all-SEC by coaches.
Jackson suffered a wrist injury late in the season and had a cast put on following the season. She will require six weeks of rehabilitation, a team spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said Jackson's injury did not require surgery. Arkansas coach Jimmy Dykes said earlier this month that three players would need off-season surgery, but declined to provide names.
The Razorbacks finished the season 12-18 overall and declined an invitation to the WNIT.
