Kingsley makes AP All-SEC second team

Arkansas junior center Moses Kingsley was voted by media to the Associated Press All-SEC second team, it was announced Monday.

Kingsley, who averaged 15.9 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.4 blocked shots, also was voted to the SEC’s second team by conference coaches last week.

Kentucky guard Tyler Ulis was the AP’s SEC player of the year, LSU forward Ben Simmons was freshman of the year and Texas A&M’s Billy Kennedy was coach of the year.

Joining Ulis and Simmons on the AP All-SEC first team were Ole Miss guard Stefan Moody, Kentucky guard Jamal Murray and Texas A&M forward Jalen Jones.

Along with Kingsley the second-team players were Alabama guard Retin Obasohan, South Carolina forward Michael Carrera, Vanderbilt center Damian Jones and Tennessee guard Kevin Punter.
