Tuesday recruiting tidbits: More schools checking out top in-state recruit

Notre Dame and Alabama are expected to visit the school of a top in-state prospect today.

The Fighting Irish and Crimson Tide will visit Ashdown today to check on safety Montaric Brown. LSU is expected to visit Wednesday and Michigan next Tuesday. The Hogs visited last week.

Riverview sophomore athlete J.T. Smith received camp invites to Florida State and UCLA on Friday. He also has an invited to an Arkansas camp. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Sophmore athlete Payton Copher of Springdale Har-Ber has been invited to an Arkansas camp. The Hogs visited the school last week. Copher recorded 58 tackles, a tackle for loss, 6 pass deflections, a forced fumble, a recovered fumble and returned a blocked field goal 100 yards for a score while playing safety.

He recorded 10.86 seconds in the 100 meters and 22.31 in the 200. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Oklahoma is expected to visit the school of offensive lineman Dalton Wagner of Richmond-Burton High School in Richmond, Ill. May 19.

Running back Maleek Williams, 6-1, 215, 4.42 of Punta Gorda, (Fla.) Charlotte said he expects defensive coordinator Robb Smith to visit his school on Thursday. He has numerous offers, including Arkansas. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Southern Illinois is expected to visit Blytheville to see linebacker Malik Smith and running back DeMekko Clark this week.

Sophomore offensive lineman Larry Clark will attend the Nike Opening Regional in Chicago this weekend.

Arkansas offensive line coach Kurt Anderson visited the school of linebacker target Micah Awodiran this morning.

Awodiran, 6-2, 210 of Marist High School in Chicago has 25 scholarship offers from schools like Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri, Illinois, Boston College and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE
