Friday recruiting tidbits: BB Hogs showing combo guards strong interest

Arkansas is showing interest in two 2017 basketball prospects.

Combo guards Elijah Joiner,and Mike Adewumni, are drawing strong interest from the Hogs.

Joiner, 6-3, 170 of Chicago, (Ill.) Curie plays for Team Rose in the spring and summer. He has more than 15 offers, including Depaul,St. Louis, UAB, Bradley and several others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Adewumni, 6-5, 210 attends Mansfield, (Texas) Lake Ridge plays for Urban DFW. He has offers from Boise State, Rice, Oral Roberts and several others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Both are considering visits to Fayetteville and being recruited by assistant coach Scotty Thurman.

Arkansas offensive line coach Kurt Anderson visited Bolingbrook, Ill. on Thursday to check on sophomore receiver I'Shawn Stewart and junior running back-fullback Jeremiah Lebron. Stewart visited the Hogs in February and plans to attend a June camp in Fayetteville. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Ole Miss offered Arkansas quarterback commitment Daulton Hyatt of Attila, Ala. on Thursday. Hyatt said he's solid to the Hogs.

Springdale Coach Zac Clark said sophomore defensive lineman Isaiah Nichols, 6-4, 255 is receiving interest from schools across the nation. He moved to Springdale from Little Rock before his sophomore season. Clark said last August that Nichols had a chance to be highly recruited. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Arkansas visited Dallas Kimball on Thursday to check on athlete Devodrick Johnson, who has 14 offers. The Hogs have not offered at this time. Video highlights CLICK HERE

The Hogs visited St Louis University City on Thursday to evaluate sophomore defensive lineman Ronnie Perkins. His older brother, Ronnell, is a redshirt freshman safety at Missouri. Video highlights CLICK HERE
