Wednesday recruiting tidbits: Newly offered prospects hope to visit

Arkansas extended more scholarship offers on Tuesday.

Tight end Lecitus Smith, 6-4, 255 of Fitzgerald, Ga. received an offer and is looking to make a trip to Fayetteville this summer. He has 16 others offers from Louisville, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State, North Carolina State and others. Defensive line coach Rory Segrest is his lead recruiter. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Cornerback Noah Daniels, 6-0, 185 of League City, (Texas) Clear Creek said he'll most likely visit Arkansas this summer after receiving an offer from the Hogs Tuesday. Fort Smith Northside cornerback Tre Norwood, 5-11, 172, 4.52 received an offer from Louisville on Tuesday. He plans to attend summer camps at Arkansas, Louisville, Oklahoma State, TCU, Memphis, Arkansas State and maybe Southern Illinois. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Ashdown safety and Arkansas target Montaric Brown received his 11th offer from Missouri on Tuesday.

Greenwood sophomore quarterback Connor Noland received a football offer from Memphis. He has offers from Arkansas, UCLA, Texas A&M, Kentucky, North Carolina and others.

Running backs coach Reggie Mitchell will attend running back Maleek Williams' spring game on Friday.

As noted Tuesday, Williams, 6-1, 215, 4.42 of Punta Gorda, (Fla.) Charlotte said the Hogs and Illinois are at the top of his list.

Arkansas tight ends coach Barry Lunney Jr. attended England's practice on Tuesday to watch tight end-defensive end B.J. Thompson. Video highlights CLICK HERE
