Tuesday recruiting tidbits: Top prospect says 2nd Arkansas visit a possibility

A top defensive target may visit Arkansas a second time during the summer.

Highly recruited linebacker Addison Gumbs said a summer visit to Arkansas is still a possibility. He and his parents visited Fayetteville in early April.

Addison, 6-4, 215 of Hayward, (Calif.) Stellar Prep has more than 20 offers from schools like Arkansas, Oregon, Washington, Arizona State, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma and others. ESPN rates him the No. 15 outside linebacker and the No. 231 overall prospect in the nation. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Tight end Lecitus Smith, 6-4, 260 of Fitzgerald, (Ga.) said he plans to visit Arkansas this summer after recently receiving an offer from the Hogs. He has about 18 offers, including Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State, Louisville, North Carolina State and others. Video highlights CLICK HERE

Elite defensive lineman Greg Rogers, 6-4, 305, of Las Vegas Arbor View said Arkansas defensive line coach Rory Segrest visited his school on Monday. ESPN rates him the No. 5 defensive tackle and No. 66 overall prospect in the nation. He has received more than 25 offers, including ones from Arkansas, Southern Cal, UCLA, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Michigan

Alabama receivers coach Billy Napier attended Greenwood's practice this morning to watch sophomore quarterback Connor Noland throw.

Arkansas offensive coordinator Dan Enos and defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads visited Ashdown on Monday to check on safety target Montaric Brown and sophomore cornerback LaDarius Bishop. TCU is also expected to visit the school this week.
