Tuesday recruiting tidbits: Hog BB prospects continue to shine

Several Arkansas basketball commitments and recruits are showing well during spring basketball.

Arkansas forward commitment Daniel Gafford is averaging 9.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.2 block shots while shooting 56 percent from the field for Team Portis Wings Elite. He has a game-high of 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Guard Jared Ridder of MOKAN Elite is averaging 7.4 points and 2.9 rebounds. He has a game-high of 23 points.

He's shooting 51 percent from the field and 43 percent from beyond the three-point line. Has an Arkansas offer.

Arkansas guard-forward commitment Darious Hall of the Memphis Magic is averaging 15.9 points and 8 rebounds.

Guard Jamal Johnson of Team Carroll is averaging 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Has an Arkansas offer.

Guard Mike Adewumni of Dallas Urban Elite is averaging 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds.

Guard Elijah Joiner of Team Rose is averaging 13.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

Guard Josh Anderson of Louisiana Elite is averaging 15.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals. He has a game-high 28 points. Has an Arkansas offer.

Alabama-Birmingham extended an offer to shooting guard Exavian Christon of Team Portis Wings Elite. He also has offers from UALR and Southern Miss. He's averaging 12 points, 3.1 rebounds while shooting 51 percent from the field and 45 percent from beyond the three-point line.

Miami receiver commitment Kevaughn Dingle said he plans to visit Arkansas this summer.

2019 safety Brian Williams, the younger brother of Arkansas running back Rawleigh Williams III, said he and his parents are looking at their schedule to see if he can attend a camp in Fayetteville this summer. He did plan to attend the now cancelled satellite camp in Dallas.

2019 linebacker Kyvin Carroll, 6-0, 205 of Central Arkansas Christian received his first offer from Henderson State on Saturday. He plans to attend the All Arkansas camp at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock on June 5. Video highlights CLICK HERE
