Kody Walker out for season with foot injury

— Arkansas running back Kody Walker will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

Walker will undergo surgery Sunday on the right foot he broke during the spring. He had surgery after initially suffering the injury in April, but has struggled with his recovery.

It is the third season-ending injury for Walker during his six seasons at Arkansas. He was granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA last summer because of the injuries.

Walker suffered a stress fracture in his shin during the third game of his true freshman season in 2011 and broke his leg in the second game the next year.

Last season, Walker missed four games with a broken hand. Counting Saturday's Ole Miss game, Walker has missed 27 games with an injury.

Walker has rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown this season, and has also been used in some fullback situations.
