ARLINGTON, Texas -- Arkansas Coach Bret Bielema and Texas A&M Coach Kevin Sumlin had differing accounts about how their teams reacted when the momentum shifted late in the third quarter of Saturday's game.

Arkansas was in the midst of a 19-play drive inside the 1 before the Aggies began taking control of the game moments later.

The Aggies stopped Arkansas on four plays inside the 2 late in the third quarter when the score was tied 17-17 to seize the momentum.

"It was a turning point in the game, getting down on the goal line and winning," Sumlin said. "We weren't going to let them walk in, and it's been a long time since we did it that way. ... I thought our body language was good in tough situations."

Bielema said he thought there were a few guys who took the field with a "poor demeanor" as the Aggies pulled ahead with three consecutive touchdowns.

"Uncharacteristic to not make an effort and do certain things," Bielema said. "We'll definitely address that off film."

Asked to elaborate on the demeanor his team showed, Bielema brought up the Razorbacks' failed on-side kick with 6:21 remaining with the Aggies leading 38-24.

"But, when we gave up another score, it just, I thought there was missed tackles and some things that we definitely will have to address," Bielema said.

Injury report

Coach Bret Bielema said receiver Keon Hatcher pulled a hamstring late in the game. He did not provide an update on how long Hatcher might be out.

Additionally, freshman defensive tackle Austin Capps did not make the trip to Arlington after being involved in a scooter accident last week.

"He had a big contusion on his eye," Bielema said of Capps. "It was swollen shut here, and I just didn't want to bring him over and put him in that environment. He'll be cleared to go and should be 100 percent next week."

Poll position

Arkansas fell three spots to No. 20 in Sunday's Associated Press top 25 poll. The Razorbacks accumulated 241 points, two more than No. 21 TCU. Arkansas beat TCU 41-38 two weeks ago in Fort Worth.

Arkansas is ranked in the AP poll three consecutive weeks for the first time since 2011.

The Hogs fell four spots in the USA Today Coaches poll to No. 22.

Arkansas dropped out of the Football Writer's Association of America's Super 16 poll.

Third-down throws

Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen completed 8 of 13 passes for 166 yards on third downs. All eight of the completions resulted in first downs.

Coley canned

De'Andre Coley's ejection for targeting a defenseless Speedy Noil was upheld by the replay official. Coley smacked into Noil just after cornerback Ryan Pulley tipped away a deep pass down the left sideline on third and 7 from the Aggies' 4 midway through the second quarter. The 15-yard penalty gave the Aggies a first down at the 19 instead of them having to punt from their own end zone.

Trevor Knight found Ricky Seals-Jones for a 47-yard pass two plays later and the Aggies turned the possession into Daniel LaCamera's game-tying 48-yard field goal.

Coley led with his shoulder and it appeared his shoulder and possibly a tick from his helmet made contact with Noil above the shoulders.

"When it went upstairs and got confirmed and he was ejected, you've got to believe that, obviously, the right call was made," Bret Bielema said. "It was a little late more than anything."

Center strategy

The Razorbacks went back to Frank Ragnow at center against Texas A&M after playing Jake Raulerson and Zach Rogers at center in a 42-3 victory over Texas State last week.

Ragnow started the first two games at center.

"They went with multiple fronts and did different things up front that we just needed to make the right call and get to the right person and the right alignments and felt that Frank at center and Jake at guard [was the way to do it]," Bielema said.

Bielema also said Brian Wallace had a good week of practice and deserved a start at right tackle.

"We were going to give those ends a lot of business and a lot of our tackles on that end and a lot of help with running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers," Bielema said. "And, again, just over four quarters, we didn't do it enough."

Texas A&M end Daeshon Hall beat Wallace with a move to sack Austin Allen and force a fumble in the fourth quarter that the Aggies recovered at the Arkansas 15 and turned into Christian Kirk's 9-yard touchdown catch for a 38-17 lead.
