Oklahoma pitcher pledges to Razorbacks

— Arkansas received a commitment Thursday from an Oklahoma pitcher.

Right-hander Jaxon Wiggins of Roland, Okla., became the Razorbacks' fourth commit in the class of 2020 and second this week. Sheridan right-hander Tyler Cacciatori committed to Arkansas on Wednesday.

Wiggins (6-3, 178 pounds) has a fastball that was clocked at 87 mph in June. He is not rated among the top 10 prospects in Oklahoma, according to PrepBaseballReport.com.

Wiggins also plays basketball and runs track for Roland, located about 70 miles from Fayetteville, near Fort Smith. Wiggins played travel baseball and AAU basketball this summer.
