Reports: Herbert to Michigan

— Former Arkansas strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert has been hired for the sam position at the University of Michigan, multiple media outlets reported on Saturday.

The move was first reported by 247Sports and Football Scoop.com.

Herbert, a Pittsburgh native, is no stranger to the Big Ten, having lettered for four years as a defensive lineman at his alma mater Wisconsin, and then serving as strength and conditioning coach for the Badgers for 11 years.

Herbert accompanied Coach Bret Bielema to Arkansas for his first season in 2013 and spent five seasons with the Razorbacks. His salary in 2017 was $350,000.
