NWA Democrat-Gazette/ANTHONY REYES @NWATONYR Jaylen Barford (0) of Arkansas dribbles looking for a play as Galen Robinson Jr. (25) of Houston defends Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks won 84-72.

Our staff's predictions for Saturday's Arkansas-Kentucky basketball matchup.

Jimmy Carter

Maybe Malik Monk tries to do too much and has an off shooting night. Maybe Kentucky is overconfident after two blowout wins to start SEC play. Even if both happen, Arkansas will need to play its best game of the year in order to earn its first road win over a team ranked in the top six since winning at Kentucky in 1993-94.

Clay Henry

If Arkansas had Cabot's Jarrod Barnes on the trip, maybe it could slow down Malik Monk. But he's still playing high school basketball.

Matt Jones

Even if Malik Monk struggles, Arkansas will have trouble beating the Wildcats. Bam Adebayo is a matchup problem in the post and De'Aaron Fox creates a lot of open shots with his ability to drive. Kentucky's athleticism is unlike anything Arkansas has seen this year. I think the Razorbacks can stay within striking distance for a little while, but the Wildcats pull away.

Wildcats' track-meet transition speed and home crowd too much for Razorbacks to overcome.
