— Arkansas senior center Frank Ragnow was named a first-team preseason All-SEC selection by league media Friday.

Ragnow was the only Razorback to earn first-team honors from league media at the conclusion of the annual SEC Media Days. Senior quarterback Austin Allen was named to the third team.

Ragnow has stockpiled preseason platitudes leading up to this fall. He has been named to the Rimington and Outland Trophy watch lists and was named a first-team All-American by Sporting News and Lindy's. As a junior, Pro Football Focus ranked the 6-foot-5, 317-pounder the best offensive lineman and run blocker in the nation.

Allen threw for an SEC-best 3,430 yards, 25 touchdowns and 15 interceptions as a first-year starter last season.
