Arkansas schedules Pro Day for March 15

Arkansas defensive end Deatrich Wise runs a drill at the NFL football scouting combine in Indianapolis, Sunday, March 5, 2017.

— Arkansas will host NFL scouts at its annual Pro Day next Wednesday at the Walker Indoor Pavilion, according to the SEC.

It's unclear how many former players will work-out for scouts at the event, but all eight Razorbacks who participated at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis are likely to be in attendance.

The players to participate at the combine were: defensive linemen Deatrich Wise and Jeremiah Ledbetter; receivers Drew Morgan and Keon Hatcher; tight end Jeremy Sprinkle; offensive lineman Dan Skipper; linebacker Brooks Ellis; and punter Toby Baker.

Pro days offer a chance for players to improve upon their combine times and for scouts to analyze players who weren't invited to the combine. Pro day workouts typically include bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, the 40-yard dash, 60-yard shuttle and workouts specific to a position. Players also are weighed and measured.

According to CBSSports.com, Skipper, Sprinkle, Ledbetter, Wise and Hatcher stand the best chance of being drafted in April, all between the fourth and seventh rounds. Sprinkle, rated the 10th-best tight end by CBS, is the only former Arkansas player rated in the top 10 of his position group.

Skipper is rated the No. 13 offensive tackle, Wise the No. 20 defensive end, Ledbetter the No. 21 defensive tackle and Hatcher the No. 40 receiver available, according to CBS.
