GREENVILLE, S.C. — As Arkansas (26-9) heads into its NCAA Tournament battle with North Carolina (28-7) on Sunday at 5:10 p.m. CDT, several future Razorbacks are dialed in and ready to watch.
That includes Little Rock Christian sophomore point guard and 2019 pledge Justice Hill, who got a chance to watch Arkansas downed Seton Hall 77-71 Friday in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
“It was a good win for us, big one against North Carolina coming up, but like (Razorback junior guard) Daryl (Macon) said, they put on their pants the same way we do,” Hill said. “It’s time for an upset. The Hogs fans deserve it. Let’s Dance.
“Shout out to my guys Dustin (Thomas) and Moses (Kingsley). They showed up big.”
Hill (5-10, 160), Fort Smith Northside junior guard Isaiah Joe (6-4, 180), Jonesboro junior guard Desi Sills (6-1, 170), Little Rock Parkview junior forward Ethan Henderson (6-9, 190) and Thomasville, Ga., center Reggie Perry (6-10, 225) - all Razorback commits and Arkansas Hawks AAU teammates - practiced in Little Rock this weekend.
They will all be on hand for the Real Deal in the Rock March 31-April 2 in Little Rock.
“I didn’t get to see the game vs. Seton Hall so I’m not sure what to say about that, but it’s time to show Carolina what 40 Minutes of Hell is really about,” Perry said.
Arkansas 2017 signee Darious Hall (6-7, 210), who just led Little Rock Mills to the Class 5A state title while being named MVP, doesn’t want to see the Razorbacks play from behind.
“It was a good game,” Hall said. “But they put themselves in that hole and had to dig back out it it. They need to come out hard tomorrow.”
