Former Arkansas defensive end Deatrich Wise, the 131st pick of the NFL Draft, signed with the New England Patriots on Thursday.
Wise, 22, a fourth-round selection by the Patriots, will join former Razorback Trey Flowers on the New England defensive line.
A 6-5, 271-pounder from Carrollton, Texas, Wise recorded 112 tackles, 16 1/2 sacks, 6 passes defended and 4 forced fumbles in his career. The 16 1/2 sacks rank 10th in Arkansas history.
