Arkansas freshman Mason Overstreet will tee off Friday at 8:57 a.m. at the NCAA Men’s Championships at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.
Overstreet, of Kingfisher, Okla., is playing as an individual at the NCAAs after a final round 5-under-par 67 carried him to a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional last week. He is the fourth Razorback to advance as an individual, following R.H. Sikes in 1963, Bud Still in 1995 and Craig Lile in 2000. Sikes in Arkansas’ only individual NCAA champion.
Overstreet is scheduled for a 2:17 p.m. tee time Saturday.
