Dominic Fletcher doubled off reliever Nick Bush, but Zack Hess - the third pitcher for LSU, left him stranded. Eric Walker pitched seven innings while allowing one run on five hits with eight strikeouts.

LSU freshman pitcher Eric Walker has now tossed seven innings of one-run baseball. He's tied a career-high with eight strikeouts and thrown 105 pitches.

Dominic Taccolini relieves Alberius and gets a 1-2-3 inning. Kenley, Arledge and Cole due up for the Razorbacks, who have been out-hit 6-5 and left six stranded on the basepaths.

Arkansas got two on base against Walker - including an intentional walk to Chad Spanberger - but Luke Bonfield fouled out to end the frame.
Walker has limited Arkansas to one runs on four hits with one walk, seven strikeouts and 81 pitches.

Tempers flared when Dominic Fletcher slid into second base and upended Sam Freeman. Benches cleared, but umps ruled it a clean slide. In fact, replayed show that Fletcher was safe, but the play was not reviewed.

LSU has loaded the bases with nobody out on two hits and an error. Kopps is done and Matt Cronin takes over on the mound. Kopps gives up three hits and is responsible for the three runners on base.
Kronin fanned Deichmann, but then reliever Cannon Chadwick walked in the tying run. He's now out and Josh Alberius on with the bases still loaded with one out.
Albeirus gives up an RBI single to Matt Smith to give LSU the lead and Beau Jordan adds a sacrifice fly before Alberius gets out of the inning.

Eric Cole rips a one-out solo homer to right to put Arkansas up 1-0. It is Cole's 5th homer of the year.
Cole's long ball is the 10th home run for the Razorbacks this week and he's the third Hog with two or more over the five-game stretch.

Kopps has faced just nine batters in the first three innings, allowing one hit, fanning one and throwing 38 pitches. He gave up a loud, long out to center to Zach Watson that nestled in Dominic Fletcher's glove.

The Razorbacks threatened when Carson Shaddy doubled and moved up to third when Jax Biggers reached on a two-base error by LSU right fielder Greg Deichmann. But Eric Walker fanned Grant Koch and got Jared Gates to fly out to center to get through the frame unscathed.

Kopps gives up a lead-off single to Greg Deichmann, but retires the next two hitters and catcher Grant Koch guns down Deichmann trying to steal in between.
