TCU jumped into the Associated Press poll at No. 23 after opening its season with a 63-0 win over Jackson State. The Razorbacks and Horned Frogs play Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Razorback Stadium.

Alabama remained No. 1 in the rankings, claiming 60 of 61 first-place votes after a 24-7 win over No. 3 Florida State. The Seminoles, who lost star quarterback Deondre Francois with a season-ending knee injury, fell to No. 10.

Six SEC teams — Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee — are ranked.

Ohio State, Clemson, Penn State and Oklahoma round out the top 5. Here are the complete rankings:
