Pregame

Arkansas and Texas Tech are just underway at Baum Stadium.

It is a beautiful night in Fayetteville, with temperatures in the 70s and sunny skies at first pitch. It is a decent-sized crowd, but a bit smaller than I expected for this game. Perhaps it will fill in throughout the night.

Arkansas will throw Jackson Rutledge, the 6-8 right-hander, tonight. Rutledge has a 2.08 ERA in 10 appearances this year.

Texas Tech will counter with right-hander Ryan Sublette, who has an 8.62 ERA in eight appearances.

The Razorbacks are without two starters tonight, second baseman Carson Shaddy and third baseman Casey Martin. Both are nursing what are believed to be minor injuries.
