Razorbacks win first exhibition in Italy

Arkansas defeated the Italian team Deep 3 Select 67-59 Thursday during an exhibition game in Rome.

Kiara Williams scored 11 points to lead the Razorbacks. Chelsea Dungee added 10 points, Malica Monk 9 points and Rokia Doumbia 7 points.

After leading 51-50 at the end of the third quarter, Arkansas outscored Deep 3 Select 16-9 in the fourth quarter.

The game was the first in a three-game exhibition trip to Italy for the Razorbacks. Arkansas is scheduled to play again Monday against Italian Select in Florence, and Wednesday against International All-Stars in Lake Como.
