Arkansas athletics director Hunter Yurachek will soon have another son suit up for a Division I football program.

Saturday afternoon, Jake Yurachek (6-0, 212 pounds) of Friendswood, Texas, announced on Twitter his intent to commit to the University of Colorado shortly after visiting Boulder.

"We are so proud of and happy for you," Hunter Yurachek tweeted following the announcement. "This process has been a great reminder that everything happens in God’s time. Your hard work, patience and prayers have been rewarded."

Yurachek’s oldest son, Ryan, capped off a successful career — 143 career receptions, 1,354 yards, 26 touchdowns — at Marshall with a win over Colorado State in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 16.

Jake Yurachek, a two-star inside linebacker, finished with 184 tackles, 45 for loss, 5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles as a senior at Friendswood High School, earning Texas District 24/6A Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Greater Houston honors by the Houston Chronicle.

Yurachek chose the Buffaloes over reported offers from Army, Air Force, Abilene Christian and San Diego. Tulane also offered as a preferred walk-on.
