Arkansas linebacker signee Andrew Parker told why he turned down Texas, Texas A&M and others on Recruiting Thursday.

Parker, 6-2, 225 pounds, 4.56 seconds in the 40-yard dash committed to the Razorbacks on Jan. 21 and soon after received offers from the Longhorns, Aggies, TCU, Colorado State and Ole Miss. He visited Austin over the weekend but declined the Longhorns' offer and remained a Hog.
