— Arkansas' 5-2 win over San Diego State on Saturday was worth a big payday to Razorbacks coach Dave Van Horn.

The win was Van Horn's 600th in 16 seasons at Arkansas, a feat that will pay him a bonus of $75,000, according to incentive terms outlined in his contract. Van Horn has incentives for every 100 wins as the Razorbacks' coach, as well as for other athletic and academic achievements for his team.

Van Horn is the second-winningest coach in Arkansas program history behind Norm DeBriyn, who won 1,161 games in 33 seasons from 1970-2002.

Van Horn has a career record of 920-503 in 24 seasons as a Division I head coach and has coached Nebraska and Arkansas to a combined six College World Series appearances. He is under contract with the Razorbacks through the 2021 season.
