Dorian Gerald talks journey to being No. 1 DE, interest in Arkansas

Junior-college defensive end Dorian Gerald has gone from no offers to being a highly recruited prospect with numerous offers, including one from Arkansas. He talked about his journey and level of interest in Arkansas on Recruiting Thursday

Gerald, 6-3, 260 pounds, of College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif., recently received a scholarship offer from the Hogs to go along with more than 30 other offers from schools such as Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Nebraska.

He had no offers after high school and prep school before going to junior college. ESPN rates Gerald the No. 1 defensive end and No. 4 overall junior-college prospect.
