Wednesday recruiting tidbits: Top juniors look to visit Hogs

Arkansas Coach Chad Morris and his staff continue to extend offers to top junior prospects across the nation and at least three are planning to visit the Hogs soon.

Junior cornerback Chris Steele 6-1, 182 of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California now has more than 30 offers after receiving an offer from the Morris on Tuesday. He said there's a very good chance he visits Fayetteville soon.

He's friends with another Arkansas target and highly recruited junior receiver Theo Wease of Allen, Texas. ESPN rates Steele the No. 2 cornerback and No. 51 overall prospect in the nation for the 2019 class.

Highly recruited junior defensive back Adonis Otey, 6-0, 170 of Murfreesboro, (Tenn.). Blackman said he's looking to visit the Hogs in February. ESPN rates him the No. 20 athlete and No. 233 overall prospect in the nation in his class.

Junior offensive lineman Branson Bragg, 6-4, 290 of Crandall, Texas said he and his parents are planning to visit Arkansas in March. The Hogs recently offered him. ESPN rates him the No. 2 center and No. 286 overall prospect in the nation in the 2019 class.

Arkansas basketball Coach Mike Anderson and assistant Scotty Thurman watched guard-forward signee Jordan Phillips, 6-7, 210 score 35 points and grab 9 rebounds in a 59-49 victory Tuesday night.

West Memphis sophomore forward Chris Moore, 6-6, 210 recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds and 9 block shots in the Blue Devils 74-62 victory over Marion. Memphis, SMU, TCU and Southern Miss are some of his offers.

Conway sophomore guard Caleb London had 30 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in a 78-74 overtime victory over North Little Rock. He has offers from SMU, Southern Miss and Abilene Christian.

North Little Rock sophomore guard Moses Moody, 6-5, 170 had 25 points, including five 3-pointers along with 5 rebounds and 2 block shots in the loss to Conway. He has offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Baylor, Florida State, Oklahoma State and others.

Arkansas forward signee Ethan Henderson, 6-9, 190 of Little Rock Parkview had 17 points, 6 rebounds and a block shot in a 61-47 loss to Little Rock Christian. Warriors junior point guard and Arkansas commitment Justice Hill, 5-10, 160 had 13 points in the win.

Razorback guard signee Isaiah Joe, 6-4, 170 of Fort Smith Northside had 25 points in the Grizzles' 80-57 victory over Little Rock Central.
