Former Hogs gear up for all-star games

Austin Allen, Arkansas quarterback, looks for a receiver in the fourth quarter against Mississippi State Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

— Six former Arkansas football players will participate in three separate all-star games over the next two weeks.

Linebacker Dwayne Eugene and long snapper Robert Decker are scheduled to play Sunday in the Tropical Bowl in Daytona Beach, Fla. The game is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and can be watched online through a subscription website, FloFootball.com.

Quarterback Austin Allen, running back David Williams and cornerback Henre' Toliver are scheduled to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl next Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. That game, which begins at 3 p.m., is scheduled to be televised by FS1.

Center Frank Ragnow received an invitation to play in the most notable game, the Senior Bowl, on Jan. 27 in Mobile, Ala. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. and to be televised by NFL Network.

It is unclear whether Ragnow will play in the game. He suffered a season-ending ankle injury on Oct. 21 and at the time was given a recovery timetable of 12 weeks.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the Tropical Bowl's playing day as Saturday. It has been corrected to Sunday.
