Receiver Tre'veon Johnson praises Stepp, talks Arkansas visit

Justin Stepp, who previously spent three seasons as receivers coach at SMU, is the new receivers coach at Arkansas.

Oklahoma receiver commitment Tre'veon Johnson, who's visiting Arkansas this weekend, was on Recruiting Thursday and spoke highly of Razorback receivers coach Justin Stepp and his help in making him the player he is today.

Johnson, 6-2, 184 pounds, 4.43 seconds in the 40 yard dash, of Brenham, Texas, received a scholarship offer from Arkansas Coach Chad Morris and his staff Dec. 10 to go along with ones from Oklahoma, TCU, Texas Tech, Minnesota, Oregon State and others.

He rushed 38 times for 547 yards and 7 touchdowns while also catching 18 passes for 264 yards and 2 touchdowns as a senior.

Johnson, who has a best of 48.2 seconds in the 400 meters, talked about his upcoming visit to Fayetteville and what he wants to experience.
