Arkansas 97, Ole Miss 93 - Final

Jaylen Barford and Daryl Macon combined for 43 points and Arkansas edged Ole Miss for its third conference win.

Daniel Gafford came up a rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with 15 points and nine rebounds while Darious Hall and C.J. Jones added 11 each. Hall went 8 of 8 from the line to go with a first half 3-pointer, and Jones buried 3 of 5 looks from deep.

Ole Miss' Terence Davis was terrific, scoring a season-high 30 points on 10 of 15 shooting and 5 of 8 from deep. Rebels coach Andy Kennedy said Davis was his team's only offensive threat for much of the night. Davis was shooting 23 percent from the floor coming in, but, like KeVaughn Allen on Wednesday, broke out of his funk in a big way.

The Razorbacks move to 13-6 overall and 3-4 in SEC play as they head into Georgia on Tuesday.

Terence Davis has been Ole Miss' lone source of offense for most of the day, and he's keeping the Rebels in this one. Davis averaged 25 per game against the Hogs a season ago, and looks to be well on his way to surpassing that mark today.

Daniel Gafford just tip-slammed an Arkansas miss in transition, and finished another tough bucket under the rim. He's got 12 on 6 of 10 from the floor and will be at the line when play resumes.

Arkansas 50, Ole Miss 38 - Half

Arkansas had it all working in the first half. The 3 was falling, the Hogs knocked down their free throws and limited Ole Miss from the 3-point line (4 of 12).

Daryl Macon scored 13 first half points off the bench and was a big spark as Arkansas put together its best offensive half of basketball so far in conference play. The Hogs are 8 of 13 from deep, and C.J. Jones even got in on the act, knocking down two triples and a pull up jumper against the Rebels' zone.

Jones looks much more confident in his stroke today, and hasn't hesitated to pull the trigger.

Ole Miss' Terence Davis leads all scorers with 17.

Arkansas has hit 7 of 10 from deep today and 9 of its first 18 shots. Daryl Macon came in firing off the bench. He's hit 3 triples, and really given this offense a big spark.

Arkansas 14, Ole Miss 13 - 13:55 left first half

Darious Hall has provided seven points in the early going, knocking down a 3. But more importantly, he's 4 of 4 at the free throw line. Jaylen Barford has five points as well, hitting a sweet stepback 3.

Arkansas got the ball in to Daniel Gafford on its first possession, and it turned into a score. He did a great job sealing his man, and a perfect pass from Anton Beard led him right to the rim.

Ole Miss opened up 3 of 5 from deep. That's still a concern for Arkansas. The Hogs defense has given up 11 or more 3s to opponents four times in six league games.
