It looks like Arkansas will get a visit from a junior offensive lineman committed to another SEC school in the near future.

Offensive tackle Andrew Coker (6-8, 338 pounds, 5.28 seconds in the 40-yard dash) of Taylor High School in Katy, Texas, committed to Florida in June 2017. Arkansas extended an offer to him on Tuesday.

Coker also has offers from Florida, Missouri, Ole Miss and others. Coker said his mother played a role in him agreeing to visit Arkansas.

“Well because any SEC school to gives me an offer is huge to me,” Coker said. “So I want to go and see what they are all about.”

Arkansas coaches are expected to visit Coker's school next week. Razorback Coach Chad Morris has said he likes to recruit multi-sport athletes and Coker also plays basketball.

“Conditioning, my footwork and my weight,” Coker said when asked how basketball helps him on the football field.

He also plans to visit TCU in the spring. Coker is unsure how a school can get him away from his pledge to the Gators.

“Well to be honest, I don’t know yet, but nothing is set in stone,” Coker said.

Coker enjoys being physically dominant on the field. His favorite pancake block of the year is the first play of his highlight video.

“I planted him on the down marker on the sideline,” Coker said.

Coker’s family has stressed to be himself and be of high character.

“Be true to yourself and your character and I live by that,” he said. “My family and people around me know what I am about.”
