— Arkansas is ranked No. 6 in the preseason USA Today Coaches' Poll, which was released Thursday.

The Razorbacks are one of seven SEC teams in the top 15 of the poll, joining Florida (No. 1), Kentucky (8), LSU (9), Vanderbilt (10), Texas A&M (11) and Mississippi State (15). Ole Miss is also ranked at No. 19.

Other notable ranked teams are No. 3 Texas Tech, which will play two games at Arkansas in April, and No. 20 Texas, which will play two games at Arkansas in March.

The coaches' poll is the fifth to rank Arkansas in the top six nationally this preseason. The Razorbacks finished last season with a 45-19 record and lost to Missouri State in the NCAA Regional, but Arkansas returns several starters in the field and on the mound.

Arkansas is scheduled to start the season with a three-game series against Bucknell on Feb. 16-18 in Fayetteville.
